Will You Let Your Heart Beat Again?

two-floating-hearts-TS

As humans our biggest challenge is our ability … no, our willingness … to open our hearts.

We’ve experienced so much hurt in our lives that we’ve gone numb, refusing to feel the pain that paralyzes us with fear.

However, this creates a bind and a never ending struggle. If you repress the pain, you repress all feelings. You simply can’t pick and choose what you will and won’t feel. It doesn’t work that way.

When you decide to bury the “bad” feelings, you’ve buried them all. You’ve allowed yourself to numb out … to shut down.

In essence, you’re unable to feel your heart. It serves one purpose, and one purpose only, and that’s to keep you alive.

However, are you really alive?

I mean really alive?!

Sure, you’re eating, breathing, walking, talking … but on the inside, you’re lifeless because you’ve allowed yourself to shut down.

You’ve imprisoned yourself and you’ll never break free if you don’t allow yourself to feel again …

I mean really feel!

You won’t be able to feel if you don’t allow your heart to beat again.

I mean really beat!

Some of the most powerful and rewarding work I do is help my clients surrender to the pain they’ve so desperately tried to avoid and, in turn, their heart is cracked open wide!  They learn that the feelings they’ve tried so desperately to avoid are the same feelings that will set them free!

You can be set free! You can break free from the chains (uh, pain) that binds you!

The question is …

Will you let you’re heart beat again?

Maybe this song will give you some motivation and inspiration!

Enjoy!

Hugs … because everyone could use one!
