According to Alison, some people have a life that is “vanilla” but hers was “rocky road”.

First, focus only on what you can control and tackle it in bit size, manageable pieces. Second, remember that fear is an illusion. It’s a story that we tell ourselves. Acknowledge what’s going on, observe it and decide to write a different story.
